Kats, they will only steal the elections if the people allow them to do that.  We are giving these criminals too much credit for what they can do to the people.  However, they know and feel the power of the people and are very uncomfortable for their future.  Our security forces are not even 2000 and with all the ammunition they can muster, they will be swept clean.  Remember Romania, Haiti, Ivory Coast, Liberia, etc.  All their strongmen are either dead, ran away, or are in constant fear for their lives.  I can assure you this, this election will be free and fair no matter what.  If we all have to go down, then that it will be, but when the dust settles, the true winner will take the helm.  The people got to stop fearing these people.  They cannot do anything to you that you do not allow them to get away with.  If masked men come in a neighborhood and got beaten seriously, they will think twice attacking anyone again.  However, if they came for someone with no identification and everybody stands watching or running for cover, then they will come again and again.  What is life if you cannot live?  Our problem is fear.  Yes, fear.  You know something, what you do not fear never bothers you.  However, if you are so afraid of what someone might do to you if you stand your ground, then you will die many times before your death.  Our strength is in the all, but if we value self preservation over the collective, then individually we can and will be consumed.  The adults should start acting like adults and stand for what's right.

These criminals know that many in our society are greedy and corruptible like them.  That is why you see them bait the Joe Joofs, because they know their type.  Folks, we need to delay our gratification.  This greed I am talking about is not just restricted in the Gambia.  We have it right here with some of our countryfolk in ths US.  How many times have you heard someone tell you some nonsense like, I don't want to get involved because I don't want anything to happen to my folks back home.  That is just a lie and a sorry excuse.  Another thing, some of our people right here in the US, especially those that grew up with Jammeh or are friends or distant relatives with whoever raised the idiot have this notion of "Yahya Sun Boss La".  The funny thing to this is that even though the head of the Catholic Church is speaking out against the excesses of these criminals, how many of his congregation do you hear speak up (with the exception of the very, very, few)?  So you see, we are our worst enemy.  Unless we see that an attack on anyone is an attack on all of us, they will continue to brutalize us individually.  When Pa Dacosta spoke up, was he the only adult in The Gambia?  I bet you there were some stooges that formed a self-appointed delegation (Pa Yi Aak Merr Yii) to try to silence him.  Unless we stop being a "BADOLA" (which is not in the rags one has on, but in the behavior) these criminals will continue to ride over us.  So, let's stop being afraid of their false might and take back our country from these criminals.  It is not going to be given to us, and neither, will we receive it through "Yalla Baah Na" and we sit on our bottoms.  We (all of us who want positive change) need to stand up for what we believe and take what's ours.  By the way, my statements are not directed to you personally, but to all of us.  Thanks for your love of country.
