Hiya, The answer to your problem is to set Outlook Express to Empty your deleted items folder when it exits. This is done by going to the Tools menu, then to Options, then to the Maintenance section. The very top option states "Empty messages from the 'Deleted Items' folder on exit" ... just put a check next to this option and when you exit Outlook Express it will remove all those deleted emails.
