For folders on Desktop it works, but I have few folders on Desktop, mostly shortcuts. For folders in Explorer it has no effect. For folders in My Computer it justs says "File Folder", and doesn't give size. There must be a simple utility that gives folder size quicker than clicking "Properties". There are utilities that list all folders, and space each uses, but that is not what I am seeking. In reply to Mark Rode, I was running freeware version of TreeSize. Resolution is 800x600, because I prefer reading posts, such as generated by the list, at larger text size. No other windows than those of TreeSize appeared down off the screen and defied attempts to pull back so could read information.
