Dale,
Looks like you have choosen a good line of hardware (mobo being the most
important).
Be aware that if you are looking for top performance with your hardware, you
want to buy quality memory that matches the FSB timing and does not delay
data transmission.
Be sure that you memory has a CAS 2 rating.
This will allow you to set your Bios settings to these faster settings 222
5/7 as you will see. This means that your processor will access your memory
array by rows(RAS) and columns(CAS) 2 times instead of 3 times. (ie, 33%
increase in performance).
For the small difference in price, I would buy the high performance memory
(CAS 2). Mushkin sells a memory chip that has 4.9Ns at Cas2 rated at 150Mhz.
Also www.mushkin.com is a good source to learn more technical info about
memory.
God bless and have fun.
