<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> Since I posted my summary on Phadelphia Restaurants, additional responses have arrived. Hence this addendum. Here's a note from Jax Lowell herself, with her unique perspective on ordering at The Knave of Hearts (including the correct spelling of Ty's name): "Mr. Ritts is wonderful, it's true. Here's another of my personal 'discoveries'. If you go to the Knave of Hearts on South Street (between 3rd and American), ask for Ty Bailey or his wife Britta. Tell them Jax said to ask for their salmon pasta dish with special pasta. (Do this on a week night, please). Give Ty your pasta when you arrive and voila, a wonderful dish. (I give him the whole box. He uses what he needs for the dish and returns the rest.) Enjoy." And here are some tips from Lin about dining on the Jersey side of the river: "Regarding Philly restaurants..I noticed that you listed La Campagne in Cherry Hill. I live in Cherry Hill and have always avoided French restaurants because of the sauces, but I'll give this one a try. "Since you're willing to cross over to the Jersey side of the river, I'd like to add that I get terrific meals at Emerald Fish, on Rt. 70 in Cherry Hill. The chef cooks in clear view and doesn't mind explanations. Everything is cooked from scratch, so they know every ingredient. Don't be turned off by the name. They also carry a great filet mignon. "You'll also find Barnacle Ben's (fish restaurant) on Lenola Rd. in Moorestown very knowledgeable about celiac and extremely cooperative. They'll make anything to order. What's nice is you can order various toppings for grilled or broiled fish and they can be sure to make them without flour." Finally, there was an assortment of "thank yous" from appreciative subscribers. I extend those "thank yous" to everyone who contributed to this informal guide to Philadelphia restaurants. David
