Demetri Seems like no one is answering this request - possibly because it was covered in the list recently, but what you need is a program from PC Magazine called "StartUpCop". Here is the PCMag URL for their index of downloads. I'd suggest you make an entry in the Search box at the top of the page for "startup" or "cop" and it should find it for you. http://www.zdnet.com/pcmag/downloads/index.html As far as I'm concerned, it one of the finest utilities around as it allows you to not only see what is being (and is) loaded and running in the background, but allows you to temporarily suspend the different programs for a particular reason. If you want, you can put a stop to selected programs so you wont be bothered with them again. It saves you having to fiddle around with the registry in particular.
