<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> This recipe is so sweet it makes your teeth ache. What better way to enjoy the holidays! I think the recipe comes from an Eagle-brand Condensed Milk can wrapper from over 30 years ago. The lower calorie alternatives are to the right of the slash. Eagle-brand Fondant 1/2 cup of butter/margarine 3 1/2 to 4 oz of coconut 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans 2 teaspoons of vanilla small can of Eagle-brand condensed milk/whole milk 1 box of powdered sugar Melt the butter on low in a large skillet. Let it cool slightly. Put in all ingredients except for the powdered sugar. Mix. Put about half the box of powdered sugar in the pan and mix. Put the rest of the powdered sugar into the pan and mix. Now you can either 1) let the mixture cool, roll it into small balls and chill; or 2) put the mixture into a 9 x 9 inch pan and put it into the refrigerator to cool. Chocolate Dip 1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips 1/4 block of paraffin Melt together in the top of a double boiler. If you made the balls, place each ball on the end of a fork or toothpick and dip into the chocolate. Cool on waxed paper. If you made the pan fondant, drizzle the chocolate on top of the mixture, let it chill, cut into small bite-size pieces and eat.
