I better think about this one a little longer before I attempt to crack wise.

Ancestors of trees, eh?  Somebody give me  a hand (a branch? a twig?) with
this.  I always thought of trees as obstructions to views of buildings, and
of course, sources of lumber.  Now you tell me they have ancestors.  Next
you'll be telling me trees have feelings; it's bad enough my wife thinks I
have feelings, and should tell her what those feelings are.  Well, maybe we
can get her to ask the trees about their feelings and leave me alone.  This
may not be so bad after all...
