Male cats tried to mount male cats, females tried to mount females. They had confusion about their biological role. The Pottenger's Cat's video shows the progresive weakness of each generation of cats on deficient and/or inappropriate diets (with sweetened condensed milk, cooked meat when cats need raw meat, etc) and how they lose interest with the opposite sex, have more allergies, uncoordination, frail bones, lethagry, babies with more and more health problems and a lack of vitality, then more problems with the next generation, and the next, etc... From the book POTTENGER'S CATS, page 11: "Cooked meat fed cats show even more irritibability. Some females are reven dangers to handle.... The males, on the other hand, are more docile, often to the point of being unaggressive and their sex interest is slack or perveted. In essence, there is a role reversl with the female cats becoming the agressors and the male cats becoming passive as well as evidence of increasing abnormal activities between the same sexes. Such sexual deviations are not observed among the raw food cats." (Pottenger's words, not mine.) "At autopsy, cooked meat fed females [cats] frequently present ovarian atrophy and uterine congestion, and the males often show failure in the development of active spermatogenesis. Abortion in pregnant females is common, running 25 percent in the first deficient generation to about 70 percent in the second generation. Delivers are generally difficult with many females dying in labor....." It does on to detail progressive weakness of the mother after delivery, etc..... The Price Pottenger Nutrition Foundation and the Weston A. Price Foundation have these books and videos if you'd like to learn more. The work is fascinating. THe book is short; the video is even more fascinating. Rachel Matesz
