I send my husband to work with jerky, dried fruits and nuts to snack on. He takes a Thermos Nissan insulated mug with him, for his hot beverage. When he has a business lunch, he orders steak and salad, with no dressing. He gets olive oil and lemon on the side for his salad. He drinks water (or, coffee. He's weaning from this...dowm from one pot to two cups a day! He drinks only real coffee...not the General Foods Cappuccinos) He is glad that he does not work on Thursdays, when free pizza is served to all. Then he would have a serious dilemma, since that is his favorite food and he hates my mushroom-based counterpart. When we take the kids out for the day, we carry jerky and cut-up vegetables (sometimes dried fruits...they put the brakes on a meltdown) for them to much on in the car, and bottles of water. Rachel Maetsz once made the suggestion for Bliss Bars, esp. the pumpkin ones, which are nearaly paleo (they contain amaranth, a "non-grain", which is not GRAP) You can get them at the Health Food Store. They are a GREAT thing to munch on when everyone else is chomping on donuts during coffee break. I lived on these at work when I was pregnant with my first one. You can keep a box of them in your desk drawer. Stacie _____________________________________________________________________________________ Get more from the Web.
