If memory serves me correctly, HP does not provide either a driver or support for this CD Writer under Windows 98. In addition, I recommend that you access their support web site for ths particular CD writer. There is a class action suit settlement with respect to the 4020 series(I think) and also the 6020 series. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Vernon Plumlee" <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Tuesday, October 24, 2000 1:41 AM Subject: [PCBUILD] CD Writer Installation > Greetings, List!! > > Been following the list for a while, but this is my first post so please bear with me. > > I have a P6SET-ML mobo running Win98 and want to install an HP SureStore 4020i Scsi card mounted CD Writer, but everytime I try (5 times so far) the end result is a the blue screen lockup effect.
