Daniel, I would be more concerned about the legal implications of what you're suggesting. An ISP and the phone/cable company make their money by providing each residence with an individual connection. If either found out you were sharing access with your neighbors, you and them might be embroiled in an unwanted lawsuit. Just something to think about.
