<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> Hi, everyone! I always get excited when I discover a source or two of really good gf convenience foods. Recently, I asked whether anyone had tried the frozen vegetable side dishes by Melrose Made Gourmet. I didn't get much response from the list, except for someone sending me the phone number of the company. I was thankful for that, since it was not listed on the box. I called and talked to the manager, he let the owner know the questions I had, and they e-mailed me with the answer that all their frozen veg dishes are gf, except for the one with noodles. They could not see a problem with cross contamination. This is a small company out of New York. The vegetable souffle is fantastic! The only ingredients are: carrots, brocolli, onion, potato, black pepper, sea salt, garlic and egg whites. It provides two generous helpings. They also have a spinach souffle that I am getting ready to try. I found these in the frozen food sections of several stores here in Texas. If you need more info, contact me and I will provide the website, e-mail address and phone number. The other "find" is Taste Adventure's Sweet Corn Chowder and other instant soups. It clearly states on the box that it's gf. Cooks in a saucepan or microwave in less than 10 minutes. Ingredients for the corn chowder are: Pre-cooked yellow split peas, sweet corn, carrots, onions, sea salt, black pepper and parsley. It's the closest thing to homemade I have found, and is absolutely delicious. These soups are shelf-stable items, and can be found in most natural food stores. Whole Foods is one store that carries this line. I have no connection to either one of these companies. I just enjoy passing on wonderful food ideas that are gluten-free, nutritious and quick to prepare. Taste Adventure's soups would be a good travel food. Christie in TX
