A recent 20 year nutrition study of 8,000 Japanese American men by the
U of
Hawii Medical School showed that the #1 risk for Altzheimer's was Tofu
consumption. Even those who showed no overt signs of Altzheimer's
were
found to suffer significant loss of brain weight upon autopsy in
direct
relation to Tofu consumption. A recent Nova Program (PBS) "What
Causes
Altzheimer's" showed that the two closest disorders to Altzheimer's
were
both caused by eating different types of beans (one in India and one
in
Guam). The same program also explained why aluminum was suspected and
then
discarded as a possible cause.

What usually makes a bean a bean ( and thus inedible when raw) are
neurotoxins. Many types share the same toxins found in soy but in
varying
amounts. Soy products such as TSP (invented by John Harvey Kellogg)
and soy
lethicin ( invented to dispose of toxic soy husk waste) are found in
almost
all processed food products. Read labels carefully!
