Greetings, This may be unrelated, but I have to start somewhere, and I find open forums are the best source. Since infancy, my now 9-year-old grandson has had small, hard bumps on his cheeks and upper arms. My daughter (his mother) has always said they were a reaction to dairy products, and I assumed she had this out from a doctor. Come to find out, a neighbor with a similarly affected grandchild told her what she thought it was and she just accepted the diagnosis. Ben has been living with me for several months now while mom is on active military duty, and I don't find that the "milk bumps" seem to get much better or worse when I withhold dairy products. Of course trying to keep all of it out of his diet is a real challenge. Best I can tell, these bumps do not hurt, itch, or cause him any discomfort. They are simply "there." Is anyone familiar with this condition? Is it dairy related? Is there medication, either traditional or alternative that might help it? I guess I have more than one question after all. :O) Thanks, Elizabeth _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
