Brian, I'll give it a shot.  MMCPL has to do with your MultiMedia Settings
in the Control Panel. If I were you I would look in Control.ini (in windows
directory) and see if any strange things are under the [MMCPL] section.
Some programs (especially the MS Natural Keyboard) will not properly
uninstall settings under [MMCPL] Section.  You may have a specified file
there that is no longer on your machine.
