Ken, They're great fun (the kids are forever cloning beards onto their mother!!). I use a Toshiba PDR-M4. One thing to remember is that they are generally equivalent to ASA 80-90 film (quite slow) so any camera shake is quite noticeable - but with an LCD Screen you get instant feedback so you just erase and shoot again. If you've got a USB port on your computer go for one which supports that (much quicker downloads than the serial port). Happy snapping!! > I have an Olympus D450 Zoom, and I highly recommend it. > > ~Joy~ > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Barber, Kenneth L." <[log in to unmask]> > Sent: Wednesday, August 23, 2000 1:29 PM > Subject: digital cams > > > > okay so this is not cp related. > > > > have any of you knowledge of digital cameras? my wife actually told me > that > > "you might want to spring for one." > > > > -- Deri James
