<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> After having been gluten-free for about 3 months (and feeling significantly better), I ate gluten---lots and lots of gluten---for 2 weeks and then had a biopsy. For the biopsy, I asked not to be sedated It was totally painless and only slightly uncomfortable---much less to it than, say, getting a tooth filled. I can't understand why so many people on this list consider the biopsy such a nasty thing. In any case, I got the results back today and it was negative. I'm not surprised since I did not have any severe or dramatic reaction when I re-introduced gluten. But I still think something is not right. It seems that I have, more or less, a constant mild case of the runs. And I did feel better on the gluten-free diet, though my pooping problems never really cleared up. I'd appreciate hearing any ideas/suggestions anybody might have. Thanks. Mark Stamp
