<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> My spouse is concerned about my losing some weight in the last few months (down to a morning weight of 96-97 recently, with a 5'6" small-boned body), and while I fiddle with my diet, I would appreciate some help in giving him perspective. He looks at my arms and says he thinks I may be getting down to a weight that might endanger some vital organs (he says he thinks about kidney damage or electrolyte imbalance, while I'm more worried about long-term bone loss). It's to the point where, while I have an appointment with my GI in three weeks, he suggested calling his office to see if they can move my appointment up. I think I have a weight problem but not a medical emergency, and thus far, he says he isn't worried about my driving our kids around. Any ideas? Elizabeth Margareta
