<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> Hello again. July 11th I went to my family doctor w/a crack and tiny rash at the corner of my mouth. He gave me a cream that is both anti-fungal and cortizone mixed and said to call if didn't help ina couple days. Then my right eyelid got very itchy but no marking of any kind was visible on it. Went to one of the doctors in my gp group again 7/13 re: eye and was told to apply the same cream to eyelid and give it a few more days. Yesterday afternoon I got my routine allergy shots 4 days early to see it that would help. No relief so far. I've been taking Chloretimetron to help with the itching and now my vision is a little blurred from that eye. I am impatiently waiting for a call back from my a.m. call to my family dr. Also I took the next available appt. which is 8/18 (the soonest) of the two dermatologists in my (check it out) county just in case this isn't cleared up by then. Today, the eyelid is swollen and still itchy. This a.m. there is a sore spot inside my cheek but don't know if I just bit it or what. My question, could this possibly be DH and what can I do in the interim for relief other than the Chloretimetron and present cream 'til I see dermatologist? An itchy eyelid is small potatoes in the overall scheme of things, but it's "my" eyelid. Sooooo, anyone care to comment, please..............very annoying itch. Like poison ivy sort of. Also, gluten-free since 4/13 with the exception of 3 mistakes one of which was that I ingested some gluten on 7/3 and then by the weekend the mouth and eyelid problems surfaced. Whoever said it to me first, you all certainly are a wonderful source to turn to while I'm in limbo. Thanks for your time. Mary B. "Cooperation + Tolerance = Peace"
