You need to do a little investigation as to the mail servers of the people you are sending the messages. In an attempt to stop the movement of virii into their networks, many companies have set their Email servers to delete all file attachments. It is a bit like squashing ants with a sledge hammer... but, many system administrators are using this method to protect their companies mail system from the onslaught of new Email virus attacks.
