We should all be aware that the FDA approval does not extend to all things
we ingest. For instance, supplements and vitamins are not covered. Such
things as glucosamine/chondroitin are not covered. So when you buy them
from the health food stores they may have the amount advertised, or not.
When tested by an independant lab, that particular substance had far less
than the advertised amount in each bottle, and some actually had none. Same
goes for ginko, etc.

That also goes for the ingredients listed on the bottles. I buy my
glucosamine/chondroitin, for instance in a prescription pure brand that
does have what it advertises: Cosamin DS. Which I understand is not
available at health food store. -vance
