However, if ''quickview'' can open the file, then you simply need to enable it. From windows explorer, click view/options - then the 'file types' tab. Scroll down to the type of file you want to look at, high-light it, and click 'edit'. If you see a box at the lower left which reads 'enable quickview', then quickview can at least look at it - if you don't see the 'enable' box, then quickview probably can't read it, and you should click 'cancel'.
