I would have a hard look at the power supply. If you are familiar with using a
voltmeter, measure each of the supplies.

I put together a new system with a dual Celeron PPGA system with an Abit BP6
mobo, 128M memory, two Seagate Barracuda SCSI disks, SCSI CD-R, and SCSI CDROM.
It worked fine at first, then started getting flakey. When I monitored the
voltages, they were all low. I replaced the power supply and that fixed the
problem.
