As far as what type of cd-rw's to use just about any brand name does a good job. I have been using several including Imitation,Verbatim,Maxell,and Memorex. Just depends who is on sale that week. I know that most of the store brands tend to be the brand names just repackaged, but I am just a little paprnoid so I don't go after them. Hey this is the media I do backups with. As far as distribution goes don't use cd-rw to do it if they don't have the same program they can't read it.
