Thanks to all that replied to my email.

There seems to be a common theme to the information that I have recieved
over the last week. That being that Celiac is genetic and it is a
recesive gene.

By all means don't quote me but it looks from evidence provided that if
you recieve just one celiac gene from one parent you may have a
'negative' blood result and symptoms seems less aggressive than if
someone recieves one celiac gene from dad and one from mum, and thus
produces a positive blood test and symptoms are aggressive.

This may be why a lot of people are told they have a wheat allergy
rather than celiac.

I must leave it at this are there is a huge electrical storm brewing
above and I had better sign off.
