The legislation provides that any person sending or receiving disparaging comments about the government, political, social or economic issues in Zimbabwe will his internet or e-mail service in Zimbabwe terminated and that individuals in Zimbabwe could face fines or imprisonment. With this in mind, be very careful about any communication (letter, fax, telephone call, e-mail or internet mail) that you send to anyone in Zimbabwe. The repercussions for discussing or communicating the matters that are subject to this legislation will fall on our employees in Zimbabwe. Therefore, in any future communications with personnel in Zimbabwe, do not discuss, make reference to or even allude to governmental, political, economic or social issues in Zimbabwe. Please see that this communication is circulated to employees that do not regularly have access to e-mail.
