Hi everyone, I recently installed a new 8.4GB HDD for a friend and used a drive image program to copy all of the old HDD to the new one. All seemed to go well until he wanted to do a system backup and realized that the Conner QIC tape drive is not recognized in device manager. His backup software is Backup Exec and uses DOS drivers. I thought perhaps he should upgrade his backup program to win95 but when I checked the device manager, the "ISA pnp bus" was exclaimed out! He uses an ISA adapter card for his particular model of backup drive so I think this may be the underlying issue. How do I enable the ISA pnp Bus. When I remove it and restart the computer, Windows recognizes this and installs support for it but it still remains exclaimed out in the device manager! Can anyone suggest our next step? All replies are gratefully acknowledged. Thank you. Jim. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com PCBUILD maintains hundreds of useful files for download visit our download web page at: http://nospin.com/pc/files.html
