<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> Hi! My dog sitter works for Wendy's and provided me with some inside information. Although the french fries are gf and are fried in a dedicated frier, they may occasionally use that frier for chicken if the chicken frier breaks down. Since there is no sign reporting this, even the staff are unaware of the last time it may have happened and the oil may not have been changed. So the french fries might be gf, might not - "youse takes yer chances" so to speak. Hmm, Russian roulette, my favourite way to have dinner - NOT! She has suggested that it's probably not a good idea to eat the fries. The potatoes are okay and can be prepared in a separate area from the burgers - which you should ask for, because not many fast food people are aware of cross contamination. I also worked for Arby's for the summer (had to quit because of sores forming on my hands from working with the buns) and although the potatos and beef are gf, I couldn't recommend eating there as the amount of bread crumbs flying around would make it very unsafe and everything is prepared in the same small area. Hope this helps someone! Becky Calgary, Alberta
