I miss corn dogs and decided to make them last week. I followed a recipe I
saw on FoodTV and it was horrible.  It was 2/3 corn meal/1/3 gf flour etc.  I
dipped the weiners in flour (gf) like the recipe called for and the batter
still slid off.  Part of the batter stayed on, but a tough chewy texture.
And I only deep fried them about 3 minutes - nice and brown etc, but terrible.

Have any of you tried making them?
