Saving files, as distinct from downloading?  IT always defaults to
the desktop for saving, downloading always defaults to that last
saved directory.  I imagine Desktop is the default for saving,
because that is where it starts from.  I would exepect this is the
same for all the browsers, regardless of make and version.
