Hello All,

My name is Kristen Velyvis. I have been on Gambia-L for a while now, and
might have already introduced myself, but I can't remember (so perhaps
others can't either!). I lived in Senegal for 5 years (1991-1996), two of
which were spent in Ker Thierno Toure, a village about 20 km from the
Gambian border. The Toure family I lived with there has members on both
sides of the border, so I spent a fair amount of time in The Gambia as
well. I've been very happy to "meet" you all and learn more about The
Gambia.

I'm presently a graduate student in sociology in Madison, Wisconsin,
hoping to finish my studies soon!

I just wanted to forward this request to the members of the list in
Washington. I thought there would surely be someone on the list who could
help.

Peace All,

Kristen

Subject: NPCA - Mandinka Resources (fwd)

I am seeking a Mandinka tutor in the Seattle-area and wonder if any of the
Friends of Senegal and The Gambia would know where I could find one.

Eagerly awaiting your reply.
