One method of backing up the Win95 registry is to copy files
\windows\system.dat and \windows\user.dat to other media. However, when
'user profiling' is active there is one user.dat file for each user in
folder \windows\profiles\logon-ID (logon-ID is the ID used to logon
with), as well as that in \windows.

Am I right in thinking that during logon processing,
\windows\profiles\logon-ID\user.dat is copied to \windows\user.dat and
that the backup method mentioned above will still be valid *for that
particular user*, thus leaving other profiled users 'user.dat' files
unprotected?

TIA
