Go into the registry and look at
 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion and modify the owner's name there.

I recently installed Win 95 on a clients computer,
 and put in the wrong first name.
   How can I fix my screw-up?
 I suggested he change his name, but he wasn't amused :-)
  I am confortable with registry edits.
