I don't really have any personal experiences to share with you for your
paper, but I did want to pass along that what you are doing is wonderful.
As a teacher myself, I know I didn't get ANY instruction on assistive
technology as an undergrad. As I now adjunct at that university teaching
the tech. class for all elementary and special ed. teachers I am pushing for
them to add a class on this topic (or at least augment the sped class that
is required). If you are using any websites with info. that could be useful
to preservice teachers, please pass them my way. I can then at least share
them with the students when we briefly discuss meeting the needs of all
students through technology.
