        Hi.
        The last Compaq I saw inside was expensive and simple. For
curiosity, I plugged a common CDROM and it was recognized. But
fitting the CDROM would be another thing; probably for fixing it
inside you would have to spend 9^(9^9) hours building special
pieces, or purchase Compaq pieces at PII-300 prices (the case
was not standard).

Starting point:        (-1)^(-1) = -1
Applying logarithms: (-1)*ln(-1) = ln(-1)
Since ln(-1) <> 0, dividing:  -1 = 1
     (ln(-1) is complex, but exists)
