I have an old Tandy DMP 133 printer that I would like to use to print
two part forms. I have an ink jet and a laser but I would like to print
out invoices on the dot matrix. I tried it on a non-Tandy computer and
the printer locked up, it would print a self test if it were
disconnected.. I was told by a Tandy tech person that to use a Tandy
printer on a non-Tandy computer you had to cut pin 18 on the printer
cable. I did that and it seemed to work on my desktop system but not an
old NCR 386 laptop (model 3170) I had.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Steve
