You might also want to deduct as medical expenses any extra equipment you
have purchased to help you maintain your CF diet. I will deduct the Bread
Machine, Pasta Machine, and a few extra pots and pans that are only used to
keep stuff separate in our kitchen. Also keep track of any extra travel to
purchase GF products.

As a tax practitioner, I recommend to my clients that they do not send any
extra documentation to IRS but have it available in case of audit. Bory
