Hi fellow listers:
I've been doing a little tweaking of my system this weekend. As part of
that effort, I've put the system out of "selective startup" and back into
normal startup. Now, ever since installing Easy CD Creator and Direct CD,
the Easy CD Creator launches when I boot up. I had previously solved this
problem by unchecking this program in the MSCONFIG startup page. However,
I'm looking for a more elegant solution since, if I uncheck this item, I'm
back in "slective startup" mode where I don't want to be. I absolutely
can't find any menu option to "disable at startup", nor to remove it from
the system tray. I suppose I could start hacking around editing the
registry, but that makes me a little nervous. There's got to be a
"preferences" option or some other control within the program to address
this, I should think.
Any thoughts, ideas, solutions?
Thanks in advance for any help any of you may be able to provide.
