I am running Windows 98 SE at home, and, until a few weeks ago, when I shut
the computer down, it would automatically shut off. Now, according to my
sighted family, the Windows 98 screen comes up, but the computer doesn't
shut off. When I manually turn it off, it runs the famous ScanDisk progream
when I reboot. Is there some setting I can change, or is this likely a
problem internally that will need to be taken in for repairs? Thanks.
