Hello All:

I got a call from someone this morning who is using Outlook 2003
accessing his AOL E-mail. AOL uses an imap incoming mail server and an
SMTP Outgoing Mail Server. This person's problem is that when he reads
a message, then closes it and tries to delete it, the message will not
delete from his inbox.

He and I looked at his e-mail account settings as I wanted to see if we
could find a setting that said to leave a copy of messages on the server
like there is with pop3. There isn't one. So, I'm wondering if anyone
has any ideas about what else we might check.

Thanks,
