*1. Highlight in Career Management Resources:
How to Negotiate Salary and Benefits

Salary is not always cast in bronze. Where a strict
salary and benefit structure is not in place, you have
some wiggle room to get the package you want. Here's
how to handle those negotiations.

Brother, can you spare a dime, a 401(k), four weeks
of vacation, and comprehensive health coverage at

*3. New in Blindstorming(tm):
      How to Make Sure Disability
      Doesn't Block Advancement

Tom Titmouse is still a fledgling, still in on-the-job
training, and still a probationary worker with a long
way ahead of him before he can soar.

What steps can Tom take now so his disability does not
become a barrier in getting his first raise or
promotion and does not block his upward flight?

Check http://www.esight.org/index.cfm?x=1054
for some thought starters and then, based on your
experience, offer Tom your advice at
http://www.esight.org/forward.cfm?pid=52.

Is volunteering to "try" a paid position and get your
foot in the door of an organization a good idea?
See how Blindstormers(tm) replied to this topic at

*5. New in Employer Resources:
      Don't Squander the Potential
      of Your Employees With Disabilities

Studies show employees with disabilities are likely to
outshine your other workers. But they can't shine if
you hold them back. These five eSight articles address
the tendency to put the skids on those go-getters.

Don't fence them in at
http://www.eSightCareers.net/index.cfm?x=1211
