Subject: An online vote for a fully accessible DVD

A shameless plug, but for a good cause... Note the title below, CHICAGO: CITY OF THE CENTURY produced by WGBH that is up for a award was one of the first DVDs to include both descriptive narration and audio navigation (or talking menus). Should the title win, it would no doubt bring higher visability for these services and features among the DVD authoring and production communities. If you have a moment, please vote for the title! Thanks.

AMERICAN EXPERIENCE’s CHICAGO: CITY OF THE CENTURY DVD is a finalist in the International Recording Media Association’s IRMA awards and a candidate for the “Viewer’s Choice” award. IRMA’s DVD awards are recognized by the Hollywood community as the most prestigious awards in the DVD industry. You can vote for AMEX’s entry from now until Wed, 8/13 (one vote per IP address, so tell your friends). Cast your vote for CHICAGO: CITY OF THE CENTURY at http://www.dvd-awards.com.
