Hi Albert,

You do not normally require special drivers for the Versapoint.

You can install the "Generic/Text Only" driver from within Windows.

If you were using braille translation software such as the Duxbury
Braille Translator (DBT) then set up the Versapoint in DBT's Global:
Embosser Setup menu, and in Device Settings, select the "Send to
Port:" radio button. If you can connected the Versapoint Parallel,
then you will usually select the LPT1 port. If connected Serial it
will be one of the COM ports, depending on which you have connected
to.

George.

Subject: [VICUG-L] Versapoint Embosser Drivers Please

Hi all. I have a previously enjoyed Versapoint Embosser with no
software or
drivers. Can anyone point me to that place where I will be able to
download
drivers for this unit? I don't know what version I have here, but if
I have
to I'll find a set of eyes who can tell me more. I also have
Kurzweill
1`,000 and I've heard that it will print documents I have, so the
translation of documents is not at issue, that is unless some of you
tell me
differently.

Thx, Albert
