Subject: [AERNet] JAWS and Renaisance Math Program

| Hello:
| Helping out a friend here to gather information.
| There is a student who is a braille user and has some limited experience
with JAWS. His math
| program is on the computer. It is called Renaisance.
| Do you think JAWS will work with this program?
| If so how?
| If it can work, what version of JAWS should be used?
| My gut is telling me that this is not going to work. It has been my
experience that JAWS will not read math programs. Sort
| of like JAWS doesn't work well with Dusbury?
| The program secratary has come up with this suggestion for the time being.
| For now they are going to download, print out the assignments and then
they will be brailled for him. Once he answers
| the questions, someone will enter them onto a scan tron and the teacher
can then insert those into the Renaisance
| program.
| Thanks for any ideas you guys can give.
| Therese
