Hi Andrew and all,

You can use The vOICe Learning Edition software,
available from the web page at the URL

   http://www.seeingwithsound.com/winvoice.htm

Although developed for use with a PC camera, it also
lets you import and sound image files via Control O,
or sound an area around your mouse pointer via the
function key toggle F9. People have used it before
to hear stock charts and the like. Views are scanned
from left to right, while pitch indicates height and
loudness indicates brightness.

Use inverse video via function key F5 if the graph
has dark lines on a bright background, or else you
will only hear the bright background as white noise.
There are many more functions like zoom F4 and slow
motion F3, but you will find out as you explore.

Best regards,

Peter Meijer
