Hi: The response below tells me that for Jaws users this is more
mysterious.  I'm wondering if it is a font issue; I have tried
changing the font in "reader view" on Firefox to no effect.  I'm
wondering if anyone on this list has enough vision to see whether
there is something abnormal about the actual print text.  I'm trying
to gather enough information to communicate with the publisher about
the problem, it is reflected in all articles the magazine publishes.
