Yvonne,

It would help if you tell us what system you are using and which version of
goldWave.

I am using GoldWave V5.70 on both a WindowsXP Home laptop with Jaws V10 and
a Windows7 64-bit home premium desktop with Jaws V14, I could install
GoldWave V6 but as yet not tried this out. I also use Jim Grimsbey's Jaws
scripts which make GoldWave infinately more accessible.

GoldWave does work quite well out of the box but I find these scripts aid me
considerably.

Also, have you set up your sound system properly? Can GoldWave see your
sound system?

I can give you pointers but not knowing your experience I simply don't know
how basic to go.

Please come back, privately if you prefer, but please note I am away for a
few days from Monday, therefore cannot assist until at least Thursday.
