Hi Ted and all,
There is also something called Talking RX; I believe Envision America works with one's pharmacy to provide the chips and the device the bottle sits in. I don't use the service, but know the ACB was involved in getting this possible. The chip will have the dosage information and other relevant information about the script.
Due to my pharmacy situation, I use dymo tape when I get my scripts and label them.

Subject: Re: [VICUG-L] braille on groceries

Hi Bill and all.

My mail-order brailled medication bottles come courtesy of my health insurer, Humana. You have to specifically request it from them. I have been told by someone who looked into it for me that United Healthcare will also provide braille medications upon request, but again, you have to request them. And not all of the people handling the phones at either company know that their employer does this.

Every story has at least two sides if not more.

A couple of you have mentioned that Braille is now on perscription
medicines. I was not aware of this, and have never seen Braille on any
of my meds. HOw does one make this happen?
