I have a system for which I'd like to create a backup image of the Windows
partition; a complete image that could be used to do a full restore of a
primary partition. I have so far considered PowerQuest's Drive Image, but
it must be run from a real DOS prompt, not a Win32 command shell. Thus,
using it requires a DOS screen reader. That's fine for a system with a
serial port, but for a system with no serial port when one has only serial
external synthesizers is problematic. Not to mention that building DOS
diskettes that will run both a DOS screen reader and something like Drive
Image is probably a tricky and time consuming process because you have to
worry about memory issues.

So, has anyone found and had good experience with any imaging utility that
can be run while using a Windows screen reader?

Thanks,
Matt King
